Every Entity is looking for a material life. Manifestation is the mechanism: a Living Record that moves as an Entity is contacted, and six Material Houses where a recovered Entity can be placed to draw against whatever that House holds.
Five states, and they only move forward. A record that has been Named has been Named; there is no path in the contract that lowers a status and no role that can.
Dormant
Filed and nothing more. Every record is published here.
Contacted
Somebody has been to the source and come back with something.
Named
A true name has been established and attested.
Remembered
Corroborated a second time, independently.
Manifested
Placed in a House and drawing against it.
How an advance is authorised
Not by asking the website. An advance needs an EIP-712 attestation signed by a registered attestor, and the signature commits to the chain id, this contract, the token, the action, the claimant, a nonce and a deadline. It cannot be replayed here or anywhere else, it stops working the moment the Entity is sold, and each action can be completed once per record even with a fresh signature.
A curator can advance a record directly, and can skip levels. That is a documented exception rather than a loophole: it needs a role, it emits its own distinct event, it requires a written reason, and it still cannot go backwards.
Health
Records whose phenomenon is restoration, healing, or the body kept working.
Technology
Records that carry, register or detect. The apparatus volume lives here.
Energy
Records drawn as a flow rather than as a shape.
Industry
Records attached to work, machinery, and the places both happen in.
Finance
Records about measurement, prediction and price: the thesis, literally.
Consumer
Records made to be sold to somebody who wanted them.
The archive is not yet on chain, so House balances cannot be shown. Every record still reads in full.
A House splits what it holds by weight, not by head count. An Entity’s weight comes from its Living Record and from nothing else:
weight = 1,000,000 × (10,000 + contactLevel × levelBps) ÷ 10,000
An Entity that has never been contacted sits at exactly 1.00× for as long as it is placed. Time alone pays nothing. The only way to earn a larger share is to move the record along.
This is the part worth reading carefully, because the obvious implementation is a trap. If a deposit into an empty House were held and then released the moment somebody arrived, the first person to place an Entity there would collect the entire amount. Watch for a large deposit, place one record, wait out the minimum, and take all of it.
So a deposit is not released on arrival. It drips: released linearly over a window, and no time is released at all while a House is empty, and the window is pushed forward instead. Arriving first buys the drip rate, not the balance, and nothing is stranded.
The full comparison of the four possible designs, and what each one does to the economics, is in the reward-system documentation.
A House pays out what somebody has put into it. When a House is empty it pays nothing, and the archive does not describe this as a dividend, a yield, a return, or an investment. Reward assets are separate ERC-20 tokens; an Entity record is not a share in anything and does not represent one.
Funding a House is one way. There is no withdraw, by design: once an asset enters a House it is owed to whoever is placed there, and no key recovers it.
