Recover a Record
Every Entity in this archive is looking for a material life. Recovering one puts a specific record, and a specific plate, source and classification with it, into a specific pair of hands, and starts its Living Record moving.
This archive is pointed at Anvil (local). Nothing here is a mainnet mint, and production deployment is deliberately disabled until the checks in the production checklist are signed off.

Records are issued in order. Token 1 is ENTITY 0001 and token 1,111 is ENTITY 1111, so which Entity a mint returns is sequence rather than selection. Volume follows from the number: 1 to 101 is Volume I, 102 to 202 is Volume II, and so on. 24 of the 1,111 records have been written so far; the rest are catalogued but not yet recovered.
A wallet is needed only to mint. Everything else in the archive reads without one.
The archive is not on chain yet. Nothing can be minted.
What a holder receives
- An ERC-721 token whose id maps permanently to one archive record. Token 7 is ENTITY 0007 and cannot become anything else.
- The right to move that record along its Living Record: Dormant, Contacted, Named, Remembered, Manifested.
- The ability to place it in the Material House matching its affinity, and to draw whatever that House holds, by weight.
- A published sha256 for the record and for every plate, so what is served can be checked against what was minted.
What the archive does not promise
- No return, no yield, no dividend. A House pays out what somebody has put into it and nothing else; when it is empty it pays nothing.
- No floor price, no volume figure, and no valuation. The archive does not publish numbers it would have to invent.
- No claim that a Classification value is historically true. Provenance is the only section that describes the world.
- No guarantee that any particular record is available: issuance is sequential, and the archive says so before anybody pays.
