Volume I
Invisible Bodies
A body is what remains once the person has been removed from it.
The first volume gathers the Entities recovered from anatomical and occult-anatomical printing: fluidic doubles, etheric bodies, radiant organs, and the illustrated interiors that nineteenth-century spiritualists borrowed wholesale from the dissection theatre. These are figures drawn as though skin were a courtesy. Volume I is where the archive learned its central habit: to read a medical plate and a séance drawing with the same eye, and to record the difference between them honestly.
Records 0001 to 0101. Deliberately the least supernatural of the eleven volumes: almost every source here was published as science.
